Mahoba. A joint team of SWAT and Panbari police station on Friday arrested a youth who was circulating fake notes in the market. Fake notes worth Rs 15 lakh were recovered from him.
The accused used to print fake notes using a colour scanner and printer. The police arrested him after getting accurate information. The police is also tracking down his other associates involved in circulating fake notes in the market.

In-charge inspector of Panbari police station Manish Kumar Pandey said that Ankur Kumar Bind, son of Ramkrit, resident of village Hata, police station Muhammadabad, district Ghazipur, was arrested near Ekta Dhaba on Friday.
Information was received that he was carrying fake notes. During search, fake notes worth more than Rs 15 lakh were recovered from him. During interrogation, he admitted that he prints fake notes himself.
Printer, paper, ink, three mobiles and Apache bike for printing notes were recovered from him. His other associates involved in the illegal business are also being traced. Accused Ankur was living in a rented house near Lavkushnagar Tiraha in Mahoba for a long time.
Learned to make notes from YouTube
The accused used to prepare fake Indian notes by learning to make fake notes through YouTube, which he had set out to circulate in the market. He was caught during checking. Investigation is being done to find out how many more people are involved in printing and circulating fake notes.
Superintendent of Police Aparna Gupta says that the background of Ankur, who printed and circulated fake notes, is being investigated. Gangster action will be taken against him.
