All the players of the Indian team have reached America for the T20 World Cup 2024 tournament starting from June 1. After reaching there, Team India has also started net practice. But the team’s head coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma are upset with the lack of facilities in New York. Even many players are not satisfied with the facilities being provided by the ICC.
This is Team India’s complaint
According to sources, Team India has been accommodated in Garden City Village in Naso County and practice facilities have been provided at Cantiegue Park. The players say that these facilities are mediocre and have not been prepared permanently. Apart from this, there is no practice facility at Naso County International Cricket Stadium in New York, where the team has to play its first match against Ireland.
This is a matter of concern for Team India as they will have to practice at Cantiegue Park till the warm-up match against Bangladesh on June 1. Let us tell you that after qualifying, the team will go to Florida and then play Super 8 matches in the West Indies. The ICC has not yet made any statement on this matter.
