In this regard, Judge Ravi Diwakar has written a letter to the Senior Superintendent of Police of Bareilly and informed him. According to media reports, at 8:42 pm on April 15, a call was received from an international number on the personal number of Judge Ravi Diwakar, in which a threat was issued. However, no call was answered by the judge after this call.
Giving information about this, the staff of Judge Ravi Diwakar said that a few days ago a threat was received from an unknown phone. In this regard, a letter has been written to the police officers informing them about the incident.
Let us tell you that Judge Ravi Diwakar has been receiving threats in the past also. After giving the verdict in Gyanvapi case in Banaras, Ravi Diwakar was transferred to Bareilly. After this, the government provided security to Judge Ravi Diwakar and his family.

It is written in the letter that on April 15, at 8:42 pm, a call was received from an international number to a private number. No response has been given to it. Many calls and threats have been received from international numbers in the last 20-25 days.
Tauqeer Raza’s file was opened in Bareilly also
Judge Ravi Diwakar took suo motu cognizance of the 2010 riots case in Bareilly and considered Maulana Tauqeer Raza as the main accused in the riots. However, in this whole matter, Maulana Tauqeer went to the Supreme Court, where he got relief. In the riots of 2010, property worth crores was burnt to ashes and curfew was imposed in Bareilly for 27 days. Judge Ravi Diwakar remained in the headlines while hearing the case of Maulana Tauqeer Raza. Judge has got Y category security
According to media reports, the Allahabad High Court had earlier ordered Y-category security for him and his family following concerns of a similar threat raised by the judge soon after the Gyanvapi verdict. However, due to some reasons, it was later reduced to X-category. The current security of the judge includes two security personnel. A colleague of the judge said the security was not adequate as the two security personnel were not equipped to fight terrorists.
