A major accident occurred when a boiler exploded in a chemical factory in Meerut on Tuesday morning. Two people died in this accident. Three people were seriously injured. The police reached the information and admitted the injured to a nearby hospital. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case. According to the information, the deceased have been identified as Shankar and Praveen. After the accident, the workers working in the factory created a ruckus. The family members of the deceased are in bad condition and crying.
The incident of boiler explosion in the factory took place in Alumkar village of Incholi police station area of Meerut. There is a factory called Durga Tire to make chemicals by melting old tyres. It is being told that 10 people were working in the factory at the time of the accident. Suddenly early in the morning the boiler of the factory exploded. Two people died in this. Three people were seriously injured.
Inquiry committee formed
On receiving information about the blast, police and senior officers of many police stations reached the spot. Top officials have ordered an inquiry and established an inquiry committee. The family members of the deceased also reached the spot after receiving the information and after seeing their loved ones, they started crying and felt bad. The deceased who died in the accident had been working in the factory for a long time.
Negligence in the factory
Eyewitnesses said that a huge explosion occurred due to the bursting of the boiler. Due to this the people nearby gathered. Before the arrival of the police, local people started doing rescue work. Police also reached the spot. After this, relief work was started properly. Police investigation revealed that work was not being done at the factory as per the standards. Nor were any relief material available in the factory. Many such boilers were kept in the factory. It is a matter of relief that these boilers did not explode, otherwise the accident could have been worse.
Action will be taken against the accused
In this matter, Meerut District Magistrate Deepak Meena said that chemicals are made from tires in the factory. Two people have died due to boiler explosion. Police and administration are on the spot. All aspects are being investigated. The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment. Action will be taken after investigation.
