A woman was shot dead inside an ATM in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The woman’s husband has been accused of murder. It is being told that after shooting his wife, he went home and opened fire on his brother also. In injured condition, the brother has been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where his condition is said to be critical.
According to the information received, the murdered husband suspected that there was an illicit relationship between his wife and his brother. Due to this suspicion, he first killed his wife and then opened fire on his brother also. At present, the accused is absconding. The police is trying to catch him.
The whole matter is of Raiwala police station area of Saharanpur, where today (27th February) after entering the HDFC Bank ATM, the husband shot his wife and killed her. After shooting his wife, the accused husband went to his brother’s house and shot him. The injured brother has been referred to a higher center in serious condition.
Meanwhile, after receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body of the deceased woman into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Forensic team also reached the spot to investigate. On the basis of initial investigation, it was said that this incident was carried out on suspicion of illicit relationship.
Police said that the woman died on the spot. She was living with her parents for some time after a dispute with her husband. The accused shot him on the head and later went home and shot his brother also. The injured brother is undergoing treatment in the hospital. His condition is serious.
In the case, Additional SP (City) Abhimanyu Manglik said that the accused suspected that there was an affair between his wife and his younger brother. He told that the police is trying to catch the absconding accused.
