A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Kanpur where a 16 year old son went missing after writing a suicide note. In the suicide note, the boy had written, “Papa, I made a mistake, please forgive me. I’m going to commit suicide!” The boy also wrote that he was going to die by drowning in the canal. After receiving the letter, there was a commotion in the house and everyone was shocked. After which the father reached the police station with the suicide letter and requested for investigation.
The boy’s father told that his son had become a victim of online fraud after which he had transferred money from his mother’s bank account. When the boy’s father came to know about this, he scolded his son. After which the boy went missing after writing a suicide note.
According to the information, the boy had transferred money somewhere once before, after which his family members scolded him. Even after that he again became a victim of online fraud. After which he went missing due to fear of his father’s scolding.
Search continues from CCTV footage
ADCP Akash Patel has expressed hope that the boy will be recovered safely soon. Police said that teams have been formed to recover the boy and the help of CCTV footage is also being taken. Apart from this, the search for the boy is also going on through the recently started beat policing. The suicide note mentions drowning in the canal. Police has started searching on this aspect also.
