An attempt has been made to breach the security of Hindon Airbase located in Tila Mod police station area of Ghaziabad. A tunnel more than 4 feet deep has been dug near the boundary wall of the airport. Local people informed the police about a deep pit near the boundary wall. After receiving the information, a report was lodged by the Air Force officials at Tila Mode police station. Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby to find the accused in this incident.
Let us tell you that an attempt has been made to make a tunnel by digging a pit in the root of the approximately 8 feet high RCC wall of Hindon Air Force Station behind Iqbal Colony located in Tila Mod police station area of Sahibabad area. When the nearby local people came to know about the existence of a pothole, they informed the local police. As soon as people got information about the pit, a huge crowd gathered there.
Air Force officials investigated
A complaint was also made about the matter by uploading a video and photo of the incident on social media platform X and tagging the police and air force. On social media platform X, unknown people were accused of digging the tunnel. As soon as the airport and Air Force officials came to know about the matter through social media, the Air Force officials started their investigation.
Thermal scanning was done where the pit was dug.
After investigation, it was found that the area where an attempt was made to dig a tunnel by digging a pit does not come within the range of CCTV. According to the information received, the officers who came to the spot also tried to do thermal scanning, but thermal scanning could not be done. In such a situation, it is pointing towards being a part of some big conspiracy or someone has done mischief. Its address will be known only after investigation
Air Force officers registered a case in the police station
After their investigation, Air Force officials lodged a complaint in the local police station Tila Mod. The police have registered a case on the complaint received and started their investigation. DCP Shubham Patel says that the case has been registered. Nearby CCTV footage is being scrutinized, strict action will be taken against whoever has committed this act.
