Uttar Pradesh Police is now going to adopt a new method to measure and control the graph of crime in the state. State DGP Vijay Kumar has instructed all his officers to do mapping of crimes in and around Amavasya in the district and mark the hotspots. After this, an action plan for crime control should be prepared.
More crime happens around Amavasya
Uttar Pradesh Police Chief has analyzed the incidents in all the districts and police commissionerates, after which the fact has come to the fore that according to the Hindu calendar, crimes are more during Krishna Paksha. The special thing is that a week before the new moon and a week after that, more incidents happen at night. The biggest reason for this is that during this time the darkness has to be more dense in the night. The night is blackest in Amavasya. In such a situation, criminals commit more crimes.
Action plan of police will be according to almanac
Now according to the Hindu calendar, Krishna Paksha and Amavasya of every month will be specially marked. Police patrolling will be increased a week before and after Amavasya. Action plan will be prepared by matching the information received through Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System UP 112.
Preparing for the New Moon in September and October
Giving examples of September 14 and October 14, the UP police chief said that it is the date of Amavasya and the incidents before and after it will be tracked, after which the plan will be prepared. Wherever the crime took place, a complete report will be prepared.
