I have two granddaughters, one of whom is married, while the other is about to get married. For the marriage of the first granddaughter, I had taken a loan of 3 lakh 60 thousand from the bank, to repay which the land had to be mortgaged. I had thought that if the crop would be good, I would sell it and repay the loan, but the crop was also ruined.
Lekhpal did not even survey the loss of crops
Farmer Chandrapal further wrote that, “Contacted Lekhpal for compensation for the crop, but he did not even come to survey the damage. Everyone is a thief here. Chandrapal further wrote that, “I was already surrounded by a lot of trouble that meanwhile one day a bull attacked me outside the house. Had the neighbors not come to save me, I might have lost my life that very day itself. I was seriously injured by the bull attack. Couldn’t even sit up. He used to moan with pain throughout the day. I used to think that on one hand I am burdened with debt and on the other hand even my body is not supporting me. It is better that I embrace death itself.
