Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting with officials at his official residence on Friday. This meeting has been done regarding the budget provision in the financial year 2023-24. In the meeting, the CM reviewed the situation regarding the approvals issued by the government/ allocated funds/expenditure by the head of the department and the funds received from the Government of India relative to the target and also took stock of the development work. After which the Chief Minister has instructed the officials to speed up the development works.
Explain that in the financial year 2023-24, a meeting was held at the government residence to discuss the budget provision and review the development works. CM Yogi and all ministers and officers participated in it. In this meeting, the CM reviewed all the development work and gave instructions to the officers. The CM said that the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24 has ended. Proper expenditure of funds provided in the current budget should be ensured by all the departments, allocation and expenditure should be expedited, expenditure should also be reviewed at the departmental level, concerned ministers should review their departmental status. The status of departmental allocation and expenditure should be reviewed monthly by the Chief Secretary.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed that all the projects should start on time, for this there is a need to speed up the process of IPC. The CM said that on-site inspection of the projects under construction should also be done. The plan to set up digital libraries in gram panchayats and urban wards is important. By coordinating with the Basic Education Department and the Panchayati Raj Department, the Higher Education Department should complete it expeditiously.

CM Yogi said that schemes of departments like Higher Education, Women’s Welfare, Child Development and Nutrition, Infrastructure and Industrial Development, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Public Works, Food and Logistics, Urban Development, Medical and Health, Irrigation and Water Resources will be implemented directly. Generally affecting the general public. There is a need to speed them up. It is the responsibility of the departmental heads to ensure timely completion of these schemes and ensure timely allocation of funds for smooth implementation.
