Now the Income Tax Department teams have issued a notice regarding a plot of land worth 127 crores in Ghazipur. While serving this notice in Banda Jail, the Income Tax Department has asked about a dozen questions. This land was bought by Ganesh Dutt Mishra for one crore 29 lakh rupees. But for this, the family of Mukhtar is the director in the company from which Ganesh had taken a loan.
In such a situation, the Income Tax Department is also trying to understand Ganesh Dutt’s relationship with Mukhtar. Please tell that the investigation of benami properties of Mukhtar Ansari is going on for a long time. This also includes property worth 127 crores in Ghazipur. Although the Income Tax Department has given notice to Mukhtar for the first time. For this, the Income Tax personnel himself reached Banda Jail on Wednesday and got this notice served. Through this notice issued in the Benami Property Act case, the Income Tax Department has asked Mukhtar about a dozen questions related to property.
According to the officials of the Income Tax Department, even though a person named Ganesh Dutt Mishra has bought this land for one crore 29 lakh rupees, but he does not have the capacity to spend so much money in one go. When the team of the department investigated, it was found that the people of Mukhtar’s family are directors and shareholders in the company from which he had taken a loan to buy the land. There is also a shareholder Mohammad Suhaib Mujahid among them.
He has already been chargesheeted along with Mukhtar in the fake ambulance case. In such a situation, it is clearly believed that this company also belongs to Mukhtar. Similarly, Mukhtar’s wife Afsha Ansari is also associated with this company. Afsha is currently absconding and the Uttar Pradesh Police has declared a reward of one lakh against her.
In the notice issued to Mukhtar Ansari, the Income Tax Department has also asked the source of the amount used to buy this property. Along with this, Ganesh Dutt Mishra has been asked about his relationship. For this, the Income Tax Department has given Mukhtar a week’s time. Warned that this property will be attached with a bang if the answer is not received in time or if the answer is not satisfactory.
