Unnao: A speeding car going towards Lucknow near Lodhatikur village in Auras area on Agra-Lucknow Expressway, due to rear tire burst, overturned several times and went into the second lane and collided with another car coming from the opposite direction. Now the death toll in this accident has reached seven.
In the accident, five people traveling in the crashed car were killed, after which two more people died in the hospital. After regaining consciousness for some time, the injured ten-year-old Lakshyaveer Singh was able to inform the police about the address, he fainted again before telling who was his relation with those who died.
How did the accident happen?
Another vehicle collided with a car going from Agra to Lucknow near Lodhatikur village of Auras area on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway. The car jumped in the air and overturned after crossing the divider and going to the second lane at a distance of 50 meters collided with another car. In the accident, Dinesh Kumar Raj’s son, son Ramkhelavan, his wife Anita Singh, daughter Gauri resident of Chitragupt Nagar district Barabanki, mother-in-law 65-year-old Kanti, wife Mataprasad, sister-in-law Preeti Singh resident of Bhayapurwa Mustafabad district Bahraich died.
The condition of 10-year-old son Lakshyaveer, four-year-old son Aryan, and second sister-in-law Priya Singh is critical. Four year old son Aryan and sister-in-law Priya have been referred to Trauma Center Lucknow. Son Lakshyaveer is undergoing treatment at CHC. Car riders were returning home from Agra after seeing the Taj Mahal.
The accident happened around 3.45 pm on Friday afternoon. According to eyewitnesses, the speed of the Ertinga car was being told above 100 kmph. Due to a sudden tire burst, the car overturned and reached the other lane (going from Lucknow to Agra) and collided with another car coming from Barabanki.
With the roof of the car blown off, the testicles flew away. After 10 minutes, the police and UPDA team reached the spot and took out the 8 people trapped in the car and took them to the CHC. ASP Shasishekhar Singh told that the relatives have been informed about the incident. The occupants of the other car are safe. He was going from Lucknow to Mathura Vrindavan. The police normalized the traffic by removing the damaged car from the expressway.
