A minister in the BJP-led Uttar Pradesh government has hit back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is an organization of the Kauravas of the 21st century. Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dinesh Pratap Singh has questioned Rahul Gandhi’s display of affection towards his younger sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. He said that if Rahul Gandhi is calling the RSS as Kauravas, is he trying to imply that they are Pandavas? If they are Pandavas then which Pandava at the age of 50 kissed his sister in a public meeting? It is not our culture, Indian culture does not allow such things.
Let us tell you that the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is being led by Rahul Gandhi, reached Ambala district on Monday. After reaching here, Rahul Gandhi addressed a street corner meeting. During this, the Congress leader targeted the RSS and said who were the Kauravas? First I will tell you about the Kauravas of the 21st century. They wear khaki shorts, carry sticks in their hands and plant branches. Two-three richest billionaires of India are standing with these Kauravas.
Khattar told Rahul Pappu
On the other hand, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that Congress leaders are also surprised by Gandhi’s remarks. Khattar said that he is Pappu only. BJP leaders often use this word to target Rahul Gandhi. At the same time, Home Minister Anil Vij targeted Gandhi and said that he is talking about the poor, but is sleeping in the ‘Palace on Wheels’ during his visit. The BJP leader said that he had no right to comment on the RSS, about which he knew nothing. Today the country is standing on the strength of RSS. He said that Rahul Gandhi should visit the RSS shakha for a few days to know about RSS.
