Lucknow. Earthquake tremors from Delhi NCR to Uttar Pradesh were felt again on Saturday evening. The tremors of the earthquake were felt in Kanpur, Lucknow and Moradabad at around 7.57 pm. Its intensity was measured at 5.3 on the Richter scale. Due to late evening, most of the people were in the market and their homes. Those living outside felt the tremors less, but those who were in their homes realized it very well.
People came out of their homes in panic due to the information of the earthquake
After getting the information from the family members, people got scared and came out of their homes. There is no news of damage to anything due to the earthquake. However, people are scared because of the earthquake for the third time within three days. According to Prabhas Pandey, former Additional Director General of Geological Survey of India (GSI) and seismologist, small earthquakes can occur for six months after any major earthquake.
The epicenter of the Dharchula earthquake in Nepal
The intensity of earthquake tremors keeps on decreasing every time. Sometimes major tremors can be felt. These tremors were felt only a few days ago due to the earthquake in Dharchula, Nepal. Slowly it will only be felt, there will be no loss of life. Their intensity will also decrease. Damage can occur only at the epicenter of the earthquake.
Earthquake came even four days ago
Earthquake tremors were felt twice late on Tuesday in many districts of Uttar Pradesh including Delhi NCR to Lucknow. For the first time, mild tremors of earthquake were felt at 8.52 pm. Its intensity was measured at 4.9 on the Richter scale. After this, the earth shook for the second time at 1.57 pm. This time the tremors were felt very fast. Its intensity was measured to be 6.3.
