Hardoi. In suspicious circumstances, the dead body of the youth was found hanging outside the village on Saturday morning. The mother of the deceased is alleging that the dead body was hanged after being murdered in a love affair. The police reached the spot and started investigation and got the dead body removed from the trap and sent it for postmortem.
Neeraj of Majra Bhagatpurwa village Raghapur used to do farming. Family members told that Neeraj was the youngest of three brothers. Had left the house at around six in the evening on Friday. On not reaching home till late night, the family members started searching, but could not find anything about Neeraj. People who went towards the fields on Saturday morning saw Neeraj’s body hanging on a tree and informed the family.

On information, the family members reached the spot. In no time, a crowd of people gathered on the spot. Shakuntala Devi, the mother of the deceased told that Neeraj was having a love affair with a girl from the village. It is alleged that the family members of the girlfriend killed Neeraj and hanged the dead body. Kotwal Sheshnath Singh told that the post-mortem of the dead body has been done. Further action will be taken on the basis of the report and Tahrir.
The love affair was going on for a year and a half
The villagers told that Neeraj was having a love affair with the village girl for one and a half years. Both the families were aware of this. Now suddenly the incident of Neeraj’s death by hanging is being considered suspicious.
