Kanpur. A sudden fire broke out in the generator room of SNK Pan Masala’s factory located at Panki Industrial Side No. Two fire tenders reached the spot and doused the fire by sprinkling water. The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit in the electronic panel of the generator.
Swaroop Nagar resident Naveen Kurele’s Panki Industrial Area site number one has a pan masala factory by the name of SNK. On Monday morning, a sudden fire broke out in the generator room of the factory due to a short circuit in the electronic panel. Seeing the flames rising, the workers present in the factory ran out of the gate.
On the information of the factory management, two fire brigade vehicles, the jawans doused the fire in some time by using water cannon. Panki Inspector Anjan Kumar Singh said that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the generator room. At present, the fire has been brought under control shortly after the incident. After this, work has started in the factory once again.
