Sultanpur. A trawler rammed an e-rickshaw on Prayagraj-Ayodhya bypass. In the accident, five people of the same village died on the spot. While three were seriously injured. This accident happened near Kamangarh in Kotwali countryside. The injured have been sent to the district hospital for treatment.
Actually, on Friday morning, a speeding trawler hit the e-rickshaw. Five people including the rickshaw driver died in the accident while three others were injured. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital. The accident took place at around 10.30 am near Kamangarh Odra village on Ayodhya bypass of Kotwali countryside. Three people are fighting for life and death right now.
The in-laws of Janaki Devi of the family of Raghuveer resident of Nakrahi village of the said area were in Hayat Nagar under Gosain Ganj police station. He died suddenly. The family members were going to attend the funeral by e-rickshaw. On the way, he met with an accident. The deceased have been identified as Raghuveer and his wife Nirmala Devi, Suresh Kumar, Phoolkali, Rajendra Kumar.
Amravati, Harish and one other are injured. District Magistrate Ravish Gupta, SP Somen Verma and other officials reached the district hospital and made arrangements for the treatment of the injured.
Two kilometer long jam: After the accident, the trawler overturned in the roadside pit and the e-rickshaw got stuck under it. Police is engaged in removing both the vehicles for an hour by installing cranes. During this, there has been a two-km-long jam on the bypass.
