Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with his ministers and MLAs will watch Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj on Thursday. The special screening of this film will be held at Lok Bhavan on Thursday from 11.30 pm. After watching the film, Yogi government can make it tax free.
‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is an action-drama film made on the historical background and this film is very much discussed. Based on the book Prithviraj Raso, the war between Prithviraj Chauhan and Mohammad Gauri has been depicted prominently. In the film, Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Prithviraj Chauhan and Manushi Chhillar as Rani Sanyogita. Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood will also be seen in important roles in the film.
The makers of the film on Wednesday issued a press release stating that along with actor Akshay Kumar, the film’s director Chandraprakash Dwivedi and actress Manushi Chhillar will also attend the special screening of the film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ will be released in theaters on June 3. The film is releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. A huge set was erected in the film to recreate 12th century Delhi, Ajmer and Kannauj. The budget of the film is said to be around Rs 300 crore.
According to media reports, a huge set has been built in the film to recreate the 12th century Delhi, Ajmer and Kannauj in the same form, for which Rs 25 crore has been spent. It took 900 workers about eight months of hard work to make this huge set.
Actor Akshay Kumar has said about this special screening that ‘It is an honor for us that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is watching our film based on the life and courage of the last Hindu king Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, who protected Mother India. He shed every drop of his blood for Our film salutes the courage of the mighty king. We hope that our countrymen will be inspired by his values.
