Meerut. The police action is going on on the junks of Sotiganj. A new case of gangster has been registered against seven including vehicle thief and junkie Iqbal and his three sons. Although one of the accused is in jail. others are desired. All properties are being checked.
ASP Chandrakant Meena said that many major actions have been taken against vehicle thieves and junk in the past. Iqbal’s property worth crores has also been confiscated. He has several cases of vehicle theft registered against him. Now in the new case, a case has been registered against Iqbal resident Patel Nagar, his three sons Afzal, Imran, Abrar besides Mannu Kabadi alias Meinuddin, Salim resident Jamun Mohalla and Mohammad Jaheen resident Jamun Mohalla. He told that Mannu is presently in jail, while the other accused are wanted. All properties are being checked. After that they will be confiscated. However, the properties which have been attached will be shown in the new case. Some others are also on the radar. Soon action will be taken against them too.
Farmer’s killer sentenced to ten years
Court Special Judge Additional District Judge SC-ST Act Mohammad Ghulam-ul-Madar sentenced Ramchandra Putra Hardeva resident of village Niloha police station Mawana, who killed the farmer, and punished him with a fine of fifty thousand rupees.ADGC Criminal Nishant Garg According to the plaintiff, Shanti Swarup had lodged a report at the Mawana police station. In which he told that Shanti Swaroop, along with his brother Khadak Singh and sister-in-law Ganga Devi, were coming to Mawana, the in-laws of his brother Khadki Singh, from village Nachaya police station, Ramraj, district Muzaffarnagar, on a tractor. At that time the tractor was being driven by the plaintiff’s brother Kharak Singh. As the tractor turned towards the fruit, one of its wheels collided with Ramchandra, who was carrying the sugarcane bogie. Because of which there was an altercation between them. Then Ramchandra killed Kharak Singh with a shovel. Six witnesses were produced in this case. The court heard both the parties and sentenced them on the basis of the evidence available on the record.
