Lucknow. After the strict instructions of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to maintain peace and order on festivals, there will be a very tight guard during the goodbye prayers on Friday. There will be additional security arrangements especially at 2846 sensitive places with prayers.
The DGP Headquarters has given strict instructions regarding security arrangements along with deployment of additional police force in sensitive districts. Two additional Deputy Superintendents of Police have also been posted in Moradabad and Prayagraj. Along with 46 company PAC and seven company central police force, 1492 trainee constables have also been put on duty.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar informed that on April 29, goodbye prayers will be offered at a total of 31151 places in the state. Of these, 7436 Eidgahs and 19949 mosques will also have goodbye prayers. Strict instructions have been given to make additional security arrangements at a total of 2705 sensitive places in the state.
Along with additional police force, PAC and Central Police Force personnel will also be ready at 2846 sensitive places with Namaz. In other sensitive districts including Lucknow, Prayagraj, Aligarh, Bareilly, Moradabad, Meerut, Sultanpur, Bijnor, Agra, Kanpur, instructions have also been given to the police officers to remain on tour.
Police officers have held talks with 29 thousand 808 religious leaders to make goodbye prayers and Eid peaceful. In all the districts, instructions have been given to maintain constant communication with the religious leaders and to take full vigilance at every level. Apart from keeping a close watch on mischievous elements, instructions have also been given to increase surveillance of internet media.
Police took down 21963 loudspeakers: The process of action against loudspeakers is going on. According to ADG, 21963 loudspeakers have been brought down in the state so far. Apart from this, the police have reduced the sound of 42 thousand 332 loudspeakers according to the prescribed standards.
