London. World cricket got a relief news on Wednesday. The head coach of the Netherlands men’s cricket team and former Australia wicketkeeper Ryan Campbell is now out of a coma. Last week, he was immediately admitted to a London hospital after suffering a heart attack. Fans are feeling well with the news of his coming out of coma, but he is still kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after suffering a heart attack.
Campbell, 50, was admitted to the ICU on Saturday after suffering a heart attack. Campbell, who was living with his family in the UK, experienced chest pain and difficulty in breathing. The ICC said on the basis of a statement given to Perth Radio by Ryan’s brother Mark Campbell that there was no evidence of any brain damage according to doctors. The ICC was informed about Ryan’s illness. Now the news of his being out of coma has also been conveyed by the ICC to his fans.
Mark said in the ICC statement, ‘He has come out of unconsciousness. Now doctors are trying to find out what is wrong with his heart. Campbell returned to Europe after the Netherlands team’s tour of New Zealand. He was appointed the coach of Netherlands in January 2017. As a player, he represented both Australia and Hong Kong.
