Due to the Korana epidemic, the ban on meeting prisoners in UP jail has been lifted. The UP government has issued new guidelines regarding meeting the prisoners. Let us tell you that on January 1, 2022, due to the increasing corona infection in the state, the government had banned the meeting with the prisoners.
In a series of relaxations being done one by one in the restrictions imposed due to corona infection in Uttar Pradesh, now the government has lifted the ban on meeting the prisoners. Meetings have been allowed once a week with certain conditions. Under which only one person can meet a prisoner. The Jail Headquarters has instructed all the jail officers to meet the prisoners with their relatives and acquaintances as per the instructions of the government.
The government has directed each prisoner to be given the facility of meeting only one person per week. Along with this, it has also been directed that only that person should be allowed to meet the prisoner, who has received both the doses of the vaccine being administered to prevent corona or has a negative RTPCR report 72 hours before the meeting.
After the meeting, the prisoner will be sanitized before being sent to his barracks. During the arrival of the visitors, full compliance of physical distance, masks, thermal scanning and other measures to prevent corona will be ensured. It is noteworthy that on January 1, 2022, due to the increasing corona infection, the government had banned the meeting of the prisoners.
Let us tell you that the corona infection is decreasing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. Now there is not a single corona patient in 20 districts. The districts which have become infection free include Badaun, Balrampur, Bahraich, Chitrakoot, Etah, Firozabad, Ghazipur, Hapur, Hathras, Kanpur Dehat, Kasganj, Kaushambi, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Rampur, Shahjahanpur, Shamli, Shravasti and Sitapur. . At the same time, in 58 districts, now there are less than 10 patients of corona.
A total of 10.68 crore people have been corona tested so far in Uttar Pradesh. The maximum corona investigation in the country has been done in UP. So far, a total of 20.70 lakh people have been infected with corona and out of that 20.46 lakh patients have become healthy. Now the recovery rate is 98.8 percent. The infection rate is now 0.04 percent. At present, Gorakhpur has the maximum number of 201 patients in the state. There are 76 patients in Barabanki at number two and 71 in Gautam Budh Nagar at number three.
