Lucknow. As soon as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath submitted his resignation to the Governor, the legal process of formation of the new government started, so here, the BJP organization has also started preparations for the formation of Yogi Sarkar 2.0. There is a possibility that the new cabinet will take oath only after Holi. State President Swatantradev Singh and State General Secretary Organization Sunil Bansal are likely to visit Delhi on Sunday for consultations with the national leadership in this regard.
In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi cabinet was sworn in on March 19, 2017 after the victory of the BJP in the last assembly elections. Now again after getting a thumping majority in the elections, Yogi Adityanath on Friday submitted his resignation to Governor Anandiben Patel. With this, the discussion has started regarding the formation of the new cabinet.
According to sources, a meeting of the top leaders of the state organization is proposed on Saturday at the official residence of the Chief Minister. Yogi, Swatantradev and Sunil Bansal can go to Delhi on Sunday after completing homework on caste-regional equations to name a few here and in view of the Lok Sabha elections going to be held in 2024. These leaders will stay there for two days.
There, in a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party’s National President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah, it will be decided who among the old ministers should be made ministers in the new government, whose stature should be increased and who among the newly won MLAs should be made a minister. Since there will be a discussion here, then a meeting in Delhi for two-three days and then a meeting of the legislature party here, it is believed that the swearing-in ceremony of the new government will take place only after Holi.
At the same time, it is also discussed that due to Holashtak, BJP wants to do the auspicious work of formation of a new government only after Holi. It is believed that eight days before Holi, the value of Holashtak, which falls on Phagun Shukla Ashtami, is in the coastal areas of Bipasha, Airavati, Ravi. In this, any new work, house entry, house construction, marriage etc. is prohibited. At the same time, the opinion of some scholars is different from this.
President of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust Council, Prof. Nagendra Pandey, former chairman of the Department of Astrology in Banaras Hindu University, Prof. Vinay Pandey and General Secretary of Kashi Vidya Parishad Prof. Ramnarayan Dwivedi is unanimous on this that Holashtak is not recognized in North India. Also, there is no obstruction of Holashtak in the governance.
Lalji Verma may be Leader of Opposition: After the defeat of Leader of Opposition Ram Govind Chaudhary, now the churning of new names of Leader of Opposition in Samajwadi Party has started. There is a strong possibility that Lalji Verma, who became MLA for the sixth time from Katehri seat of Ambedkar Nagar, is likely to become the Leader of the Opposition. The Samajwadi Party can put Lalji Verma on this post to help the backward vote bank. He also has experience as Parliamentary Affairs Minister in the BSP government. In 1991, he was elected MLA for the first time.
