In the second phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections, votes are being cast on 55 assembly seats in nine districts today and 733.44 Company Central Police Force has been deployed at the booths for voting. For today’s polling in the state, the central police force has been deployed at all 12538 polling stations. Out of this, 733.44 company has been posted for booth duty, 50.06 company for law and order and 3.33 company for security duty of EVMs kept in strong room.
According to the information, a total of 786.83 companies have been put on election duty to the central forces, while the rest have been kept in reserve. Along with this, 6860 inspectors and sub inspectors and 55670 head constables and constables have also been deployed in the election. At the same time, the Election Commission has deployed 18.1 company PACs, 43397 home guards, 930 PRD jawans and 7746 village guards at the polling booths. So that voters can exercise their franchise in the midst of security. State Chief Electoral Officer Ajay Kumar Shukla said that in respect of candidates with criminal background in this election, the parties have been instructed to publish information about such candidates in newspapers. So that voters can get information about the criminal background of the candidates.

These include Behat, Nakud, Saharanpur Nagar, Saharanpur, Deoband, Rampur, Maniharan (Safe), Gangoh, Najibabad, Nagina S., Badhpur, Dhampur, Nehtaur (Reserved), Bijnor, Chandpur, Noorpur, Kanth, Thakurdwara, Moradabad Rural, Moradabad. Nagar, Kudanki, Bilari, Chandausi (Safe), Asmauli, Sambhal, Swar, Chamrauwa, Naugawa Sadat, Amroha, Hasanpur, Gunnaur, Bisauli S, Sahaswan, Bilsi, Badaun, Shekhupur, Dataganj, Baheri, Miraganj, Bhojipura, Nawabganj, Faridpur (Safe), Bithri Chainpur, Bareilly, Bareilly Cantt, Amla, Katra, Jalalabad, Tilhar, Puwayan (Safe), Shahjahanpur and Dadraul.

Apart from Voter ID, 12 other identity cards like Aadhar card, MNREGA job card, photo passbook issued by bank-post offices, health insurance smart card issued under the scheme of labor ministry, driving license, PAN card, NPR issued by Indian passport RGI under smart card, Pension document with photo, Service identity card with photo issued by Central-State Government-PSUs, Limited companies to their employees and Government Identity card issued to MPs, MLAs, Legislative Council members, through UDID card Voting can be exercised.
