Lucknow. After several rounds of meetings between the state and central leadership of the BJP, a total of 118 names for the third and fourth phases have been discussed after discussion on most of them. The party has not yet officially announced the candidates, but the list of most of the candidates for the next phases has gone viral on the internet media. According to this, the party has bet on the reserved seat of Kannauj to IPS officer Aseem Arun, who recently took voluntary retirement, and Sirsaganj MLA Hari Om Yadav, who had joined the BJP recently, from the same seat.
Along with all the office bearers of the BJP’s state organization, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had separate meetings with the central leadership for three days in Delhi. In this, a panel of contenders prepared for 59 seats in the third phase and 59 seats in the fourth phase was kept. The names of the candidates were decided keeping in view the caste-regional equation. It has been told that the party has cut the tickets of the sitting MLAs very rarely. Like in the first and second phases, this time also the trust has been expressed on the backward. The party is going to give opportunities to the youth with experienced leaders. For example, Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana from Maharajpur seat, Excise Minister Ram Naresh Agnihotri from Bhogaon and former Minister Mahesh Trivedi from Kidwai Nagar have given ticket to youth leader Rahul Bachcha Sonkar in place of Bhagwati Prasad Sagar who left BJP and joined SP. Ravi Sharma from Jhansi Sadar and Abhijeet Sanga from Bithoor have been reaffirmed.
The fruit of working in the organization has been given to Baburam Nishad from Hamirpur, MLC Salil Vishnoi to Sisamau and Hathras to former Mayor Anjula Singh Mahour. It is expected that the list of all the candidates will be released soon. However, the party has not yet officially announced this list for the third phase.

Some seats including Jaswant Nagar will be stopped now: Sources said that the Central Election Committee has decided to hold some seats including Jaswant Nagar for the time being. Jaswant Nagar is also notable in this because at present this seat is with the President of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia Shivpal Singh Yadav, who is in alliance with SP this time. Here, after the joining of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav, BJP can play some bets on this seat as well.
