In the helicopter accident, along with martyr CDS Bipin Rawat, Lal Prithvi Singh Chauhan of Agra has also been martyred. Prithvi Singh was the pilot of this helicopter. The air force was convinced of the fighting skills of the earth. After taking special training in Sudan, Prithvi was counted among the brave pilots of the Air Force. This accident has also lost a braveheart of Agra along with CDS Rawat. Here there is a gathering of relatives and relatives at his house. However, they have not yet received official information from the Indian Air Force. But Prithvi’s wife has confirmed this sad news.
Crowd has gathered at Prithvi Singh Chauhan’s house in Nuagra area of Agra. By late evening the news had slowly spread among the people. His 72-year-old father Surendra Singh, who once produced the famous beta bread, told that Prithvi was his only and youngest child. The family resides in Saran Nagar. The father said that he has not yet received direct information, but when Shakuntala, the eldest daughter living in Mumbai, saw the news on TV, she called up Prithvi’s wife Kamini. From there he got information about the death of his son.
Father Surendra Singh’s eyes filled with tears while telling about the martyr Prithvi Singh Chauhan. He said that Prithvi was 42 years old at present and was the youngest brother among four sisters. Elder sister Shakuntala, second Meena, Geeta and Neeta. Prithvi enrolled in Sainik School, Rewa in class VI. From there he got selected in NDA. Joining the Indian Air Force in 2000. Presently Wing Commander and posted at Air Force Station near Coimbatore. Prithvi got married in 2007 to Kamini, a resident of Vrindavan. They have a daughter Aaradhya 12 years old and a son Aviraj 9 years old.
Mother Sushila Devi told that the son was currently posted at an Air Force station near Coimbatore. In the afternoon, when the news of the helicopter crash came, the elder daughter Shakuntala called her brother Prithvi. His phone was going to be switched off. On this, daughter-in-law Kamini was contacted, Kamini informed about this tragic accident. The mother told that she has not received any information at the Air Force level yet.
Prithvi Singh Chauhan. Like the heavy name, the same style and attitude belonged to Wing Commander Prithvi Singh. Prithvi, who dodged the enemy fighter planes with his skill, was martyred due to a technical flaw in the helicopter. After joining the Air Force, Prithvi’s first posting was in Hyderabad. After this he was posted at other Air Force stations including Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Udham Singh Nagar, Jamnagar, Andaman and Nicobar. He was also sent to Sudan for one year of special training.
The local district administration is yet to confirm the tragic incident. However, a member of the family has received a call from the administrative officer that SDM Prithvi Singh is reaching Chauhan’s house. At the same time, official information has not been given by the Air Force to the family members. When the news reached Prithvi’s in-laws in Vrindavan at around 10.15 pm, there was a wave of mourning.
