Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ignited the Akhand Jyoti at his workplace in Gorakhpur on Saturday. On the second day of his stay in Gorakhpur, after igniting the Akhand Jyoti after morning routine worship and cow service, he also flagged off its chariot.
CM Yogi Adityanath flagged off Akhand Jyoti Rath from Gorakhnath temple on Saturday. During this, he lit the lamp in the chariot. This Akhand Jyoti Rath leaving from Gorakhnath temple will be included in the Shobha Yatra. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to the complainants in the Janata Darbar. Instructions were given to the officers to solve the problems. The number of complaints related to police and revenue remained high. Maharana Pratap Education Council’s procession will take out in Gorakhpur on Saturday. In which the officials of Gorakhnath Temple and Maharana Pratap Education Council will also be involved along with the dignitaries from the city.
Earlier on Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath gave a big gift to Gorakhpur. He along with Union Minister and co-in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections Anurag Singh Thakur got the long neglected Gorakhpur Doordarshan Kendra started again. Now with the programs of this center, Bhojpuri will reach not only Purvanchal but Nepal and Bihar and every corner of the country. The Earth Station (Ground Satellite Center) of Gorakhpur Doordarshan was inaugurated on Friday. From December 11, Bhojpuri programs of one hour will be started broadcasting daily through this earth station. Along with this, 10 KW FM stations were also started in Etawah, Lakhimpur and Bahraich.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur also virtual launched the FM relay centers Etawah, Gadaniya (Lakhimpur Kheri) and Nanpara (Bahraich) from the Gorakhpur Doordarshan premises. Expressing gratitude to the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister for giving the gift of Earth station to Gorakhpur Doordarshan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that he has fulfilled the four-decade-old demand of the people of eastern Uttar Pradesh. This center will also play a big role in preventing anti-national propaganda in the border area. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, people from Bihar and Nepal will get the direct benefit of the programs being broadcast from this center. The viewers here will also be able to watch the programs being broadcast in Bhojpuri from the center. CM thanked Union Minister Anurag Thakur for providing FM relay centers at Bahraich, Etawah and Lakhimpur.
