Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, there was fierce debate between the ruling party and the opposition in the assembly on Monday regarding the Deputy Speaker election. Buoyed by the massive victory of BJP-backed candidate Nitin Agarwal for the vice-president’s post, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while shouting, warned the main opposition party that with this victory the picture of the 2022 assembly elections has also come to the fore. It also said that despite the defeat in the vice-president’s election, the SP has cheated him by making Narendra Singh Verma its candidate.
On the pretext of congratulating the newly elected Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Nitin Agarwal, CM Yogi Adityanath attacked the SP. Saying that we waited for the opposition for four and a half years but when there was no positive initiative, we put forward a young face in the form of Nitin Agarwal, who is also experienced, for the post of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
Along with describing the SP as anti-youth, CM Yogi Adityanath said that it is unable to digest its members. Taunted that for some people the family is the party, for us the whole state is the party. When the SP rises above the family’s intention and thinks in a broader perspective, only then it will benefit, otherwise the results which have come today are also a sign of the future. He said that the Leader of Opposition Ram Govind Chaudhary had come in a tizzy in the morning but he knew the result of the vice-president election and also of 2022. That’s why he got up from the house and left. Later, when the SP candidates lost, they started saying that the election was rigged. Just like his party had earlier blamed the EVMs for the defeat.
Continuing the attack on SP, CM Yogi Adityanath said that allegations and counter allegations are the beauty of democracy but dialogue should not be interrupted. Referring to the party meeting called by the government on SP during the Corona period and boycotting the special session of the Legislature called for 36 hours of continuous discussion on sustainable development goals, he said that the SP did this because it had to eradicate poverty, better There is no concern with health, employment, upliftment of farmers. According to CM Yogi, SP fielded a candidate but it could not unite the opposition. Then he said, ‘Time makes everyone understand. This election has also told about 2022.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister ate Shahjahanpur’s flour… Then Ram said to Govind Chaudhary, ‘I am worried about your health. That’s why I told you that you should eat black carrot pudding from Ballia. For this I will tell BJP MLA from Ballia Surendra Singh. As soon as he said this, the house burst into laughter.
