Lucknow. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is preparing to give bonus gifts to 14.82 lakh state workers before Diwali. The Finance Department is waiting for the instructions of the State Government. Since Diwali is on 4th November, it is expected that the bonus amount may be provided along with the salary for the month of October. Last year, even after a huge reduction in revenue due to Corona infection, the government had given bonus gifts to the state workers before Diwali. This time the situation is much better than last year.
In the past, along with the payment of freeze DA of the employees, the honorarium of lakhs of honorarium workers has also been increased. If the bonus is given, the state government’s treasury will have a burden of about Rs 1000 crore. The maximum amount of bonus is estimated to be fixed at around Rs. The benefit of bonus has been given to all non-gazetted state employees, work-charged employees, state funded educational institutions, employees of local bodies and district panchayats and daily wage workers.
According to an estimate, the maximum amount of bonus can be fixed around Rs. Last year, even after the huge reduction in revenue due to Corona, the state government had given bonus gifts to the state workers before Diwali. It is believed that as soon as Dussehra is over, the Yogi government will issue an order to give bonus.
