Lucknow. The education system affected due to Corona infection is now fast again on track. In Uttar Pradesh, the government has issued an order to open primary schools of all the boards from class one to five from September 1 after announcing that classes 6 to 8 will start in junior high schools from August 23. Classes have been started in the state from 16th August in secondary, higher, technical and vocational educational institutions with 50 percent capacity.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the government has issued an order to start education in primary schools. Classes will run in schools from September 1. Director General School Education has been asked to complete the arrangements for teaching and learning in schools, Basic Education Department will issue detailed guidelines soon in view of Kovid-19. RV Singh, Special Secretary, Basic Education, has ordered to conduct physical education in the schools of Basic Education Council, recognized and other boards.
The teaching work is to be done in the schools from class six to eight from 23 August and in the schools from class one to five from September 1. It is directed that action should be taken following the Kovid protocol. The Basic Education Department will now issue guidelines regarding the percentage of children attending schools so that physical distance remains between them. It is to be known that since the summer vacations, children of primary schools were studying online and through television.
Institutions ranging from primary to secondary education were closed after Holi due to increased corona infection. Schools of secondary education were opened in October, 2020 and primary and junior institutions in February and March this year after the lockdown last year, but were closed as soon as the second wave of Kovid infection caught on. The second year classes of Bachelors and Masters in Higher Education have started from 16th August. Undergraduate first year classes will start from September 1 and undergraduate third year and post graduate second year classes will start from 13 September.
Let us inform that studies in higher and secondary education institutions of Uttar Pradesh have started from Monday. For the first time in the academic session, the number of students studying in the classes was definitely less, but the college campus looked buzzing after a long time. From students to teachers and employees, masks were worn to avoid Kovid-19 and also followed physical distance. Keeping in mind the physical distance, 50-50 percent of the students of each class were called in both the shifts, but the attendance was very less. Of course, the study has started. In secondary colleges, classes were conducted in two shifts and admission work started along with studies in colleges.
