Lucknow . On the first day of the Monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature, opposition parties SP and Congress created a ruckus outside and inside the Vidhan Bhavan. In the Legislative Council, the members of the SP came to the Well only during the condolence motion. Amidst the uproar, Chief Minister Yogi proposed a condolence motion. After paying homage to the departed members, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till Tuesday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath condoled the demise of late MLA Suresh Srivastava, Auraiya MLA Ramesh Chandra Diwakar, Nawabganj MLA Kesar Singh, Salon Rae Bareli MLA Dal Bahadur Kori and MLA Devendra Pratap Singh in the House. Along with the Chief Minister, Leader of Opposition Ramgovind Choudhary also paid tribute to the departed MLAs. BSP leader Guddu Jamali, Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra Mona also paid tributes to the late MLAs. After this, the proceedings of the house were adjourned till 11 am on Wednesday.
During the condolence meeting, the SP leaders came to the well and waved the poster. The proceedings were adjourned amid the noise in the Legislative Council. The proceedings of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council began after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented a condolence motion. During this a condolence meeting was held on the death of six members of the Yogi Adityanath government.
Addressing the media before the session, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the ruling party is ready to discuss every issue of village, poor, women and development. We hope that there will be a fruitful discussion in the House.
Earlier, SP MLAs and MLCs were going to Vidhan Bhavan in bullock carts on the first day of the session, which were stopped by the police personnel. SP leaders are opposing the government due to the rising prices of petrol and diesel. Apart from this, SP workers also demonstrated in front of Vidhan Bhavan.
Today, even before the first day’s proceedings began, Samajwadi Party MLAs and MLCs started protesting on the road outside the Vidhan Bhavan. Protesting inflation and unemployment on the first day of the monsoon session, Samajwadi Party MLAs reached Vidhan Bhavan by bullock cart. The SP MLAs raised anti-government slogans. With the national flag in one hand and the flag of the Samajwadi Party in one hand, he was protesting against rising inflation and unemployment.
After this some MLAs of SP started protesting near the statue of Chaudhary Charan Singh in Vidhan Bhavan. After this, whatever gates were closed, their performance started there. Their anger has increased considerably due to inflation and rising crime against women. Under the leadership of Legislative Council members Rajendra Chaudhary and Rajpal Kashyap, these people had gathered on the road.
Congress leaders also started protesting against the government. Party’s state president Ajay Kumar Lallu, Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra Mona and leader of the Legislative Council Deepak Singh also demonstrated with play cards against the government in the Vidhan Bhavan. Congress leaders reached the assembly with rickshaw and handcart.
SP Legislature Party leader Ramgovind Chaudhary said that the party will vigorously raise the issue of inflation, unemployment and farmers. The government did not fulfill even a single promise made to the farmers. Fertilizers and seeds were made expensive. Farmers are getting double hit due to increase in diesel price. Many farmers have left the field empty this season. The prices of cereals to pulses have increased. Many people died due to lack of oxygen during the Corona period. The government has completely failed even on the promise of providing jobs to the youth.
