The party has reinstated two of the 11 district presidents who were removed during the district panchayat elections. Along with this, the party’s national Akhilesh Yadav has appointed new district presidents in two districts.
After the decision of Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav, the party’s Uttar Pradesh President Naresh Uttam issued the order letter on Thursday. During the Panchayat elections, in many districts, the Samajwadi Party candidates complained to the National President Akhilesh Yadav and blamed the defeat on the district unit itself. After which the investigation was also done. Out of these 11, the removed two district presidents have been reinstated.
New presidents have been appointed in two districts. Dharampal alias DP of Moradabad, who was removed during the district panchayat elections, has been made the district president again. Similarly, Sarvajit was also restored in Sravasti. The party has appointed Madhusudan Sharma as the new district president of Agra in Tajnagri. Anand Swaroop Pappu has also been made the new District President in Gonda.
