Bahraich. A leopard took away a 6-year-old girl in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. There is panic in the village due to the leopard attack for the second consecutive day. Till the writing of the news, no officer or forest personnel had reached the spot. There is anger among the villagers due to the continuous leopard attack.
On Sunday night, the leopard reached among the population in Majra Kalandarpur of village Chandanpur, located far away from the forest of Motipur range of Mihimpurwa tehsil. After entering the house of Devatadin Yadav, a resident of this village, the leopard took away his six-year-old daughter Radhika (Anshika). At night the girl was sitting in the house with her father. Then suddenly the light went out. Taking advantage of the darkness, the leopard took the girl in a swoop and went towards the nearby field.
Hearing the screams of the father, the surrounding villagers made a lot of efforts to find the girl, shouting and shouting, but after 10 pm the girl could not be found anywhere. A huge crowd of local villagers has gathered on the spot. Local villagers have informed the Motipur Forest Range and Office of the Divisional Forest Officer by phone about the incident.
