Uttar Pradesh. An AC sleeper bus, which reached the canteen near Khandauli toll plaza of Yamuna Expressway, was stolen in the early hours of Monday. The victim was going from Indore to Delhi with money. On coming to know about the incident, the victim informed on number 112. It is alleged that after three hours of information, the outpost in-charge reached the spot. After this, SP Dehat (West) and CO Etmadpur reached the spot and investigated the matter. The CCTV cameras installed at the spot are being investigated.
The incident happened at five in the morning. A SP sleeper bus carrying 24 passengers from Indore was going to Delhi. For tea and snacks, the bus stopped at the canteen near Khandauli toll of Yamuna Expressway. All the passengers got off and went for breakfast. Jahangir Khan son Mohammad Usman resident of Wadden State Kolkata (West Bengal) was also in this bus. When all the passengers including Jahangir came back in the bus, their senses were blown away. 10 lakh rupees kept in Jahangir’s bag were missing. When his money was not found even after much search, he informed on number 112. On information number 112 police reached the spot. But Khandauli toll post in-charge reached the spot after three hours.
Jahangir told the police that he worked as a supervisor in a private company. At the behest of company owner Rajesh Moga, he was going from Dewas Madhya Pradesh to Delhi with Rs 10 lakh given to his cousin Anand Moga son Satyapal Moga for treatment. Was sitting in a bus from Indore. SP Dehat West and CO Etmadpur reached the spot on the information of outpost in-charge who arrived late by three hours. The police checked the CCTV footage installed in the canteen, but could not find any clue. At the same time, the police is treating the incident of theft as suspicious. Acting police station in-charge Khandauli Rahul Katiyar says that the matter looks suspicious. A case of theft is also being registered on the complaint of the victim.
