Lucknow . The Uttar Pradesh government has also canceled the intermediate examination. Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma has announced the cancellation of the examination. Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma informed that the Department of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh is continuously working in the interest of the students. Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country, which had reduced the syllabus by 30 percent in the month of July last year itself, in view of the disruption in teaching and learning due to the Corona epidemic. Now this decision has been taken in view of the impact of the pandemic.
After meeting with Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has approved the decision to cancel the 12th examination. He took his decision after a meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister and top officials of the Education Department. After CBSE and ISC, after Madhya Pradesh, the government of Gujarat and Uttarakhand has canceled the board exams. After this, now the Uttar Pradesh government has also canceled the 12th examination of the UP Board. Earlier, the UP government had canceled the high school examination.
The 12th examination was to be held in the second week of July, but after the cancellation of CBSE’s 12th board examinations under the decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the UP Board examination was also considered to be canceled. The decision was announced on Thursday. Let us inform that 26 lakh 10 thousand 316 candidates were registered for the intermediate examination of UP Board.
After about half an hour meeting of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday, the government has also canceled the intermediate examination of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Parishad i.e. Uni Board. Additional Chief Secretary Secondary Education Aradhana Shukla was also present in this meeting. For the first time in the history of nearly hundred years of Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, this is happening for the first time that class 10 and class 12 exams have been cancelled. Earlier, the UP government had canceled the high school examination.
Students of class 9th and 11th will be sent to the next class on the basis of annual examination results. If there is no examination or assessment throughout the year, then normally the instructions are to promote the students. All the schools have been made aware of the instructions of the Education Department. At the same time, if there is any complaint regarding promotion of students of classes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11, then the district level committee will hear it.
