Aligarh On Friday, 10 people died due to the consumption of poisonous liquor in Aligarh, UP. With this, the condition of many people has become critical. All of them have been admitted to the district hospital. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered an inquiry. Senior Superintendent of Police KRO Krishna Kumar Singh said that seven people have died due to drinking alcohol in the Lodha police station area of Aligarh district. While three people have also died in Jawan police station area. The police have reached the spot and are under investigation.

According to locals, the case of Karsua, Nimana, Havatpur and Andala villages in Lodha police station area of Aligarh district. It is being told that IOC has a gas bottling plant 10 km from the district headquarters. Just opposite the plant are the villages Karsua and Andala. The same contractor has two small contracts in both villages. On Thursday, people bought liquor from here and drank it. After drinking alcohol, suddenly the health of people started deteriorating. Due to which people died. Which includes two truck drivers. However, the reason for the death of the two people is not clear by the administration.
The people who reached the spot are making a ruckus. He says that the death toll is more telling. All are from different villages, police is trying to gather their correct information. They all bought liquor on Thursday. All of them consumed alcohol in the late evening. After this, his condition started deteriorating. The police has taken the liquor contract in its possession. During this time, the villagers also created a ruckus against the liquor contract.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi has taken cognizance of the death due to alcoholism. The Chief Minister has directed the accused to take action under Rasuka. Officers of Excise and Home Department have been summoned.
