Lucknow. The Corona epidemic has left many homes devastated and orphaned. There are also many children in Uttar Pradesh, whose entire family was hit by Corona and lost their parents. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken an important decision regarding orphans and destitute children due to infection. He said that all the orphans or destitute children within the state in the midst of Kovid-19 epidemic are now the property of the state, all responsibilities will be taken by the state government to take care of them. CM Yogi directed that all educational institutions in the state The salary of a single teacher should not be cut. If the institute has charged the students, the salary of the teachers must be compulsorily paid.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said in a meeting with Team-9 formed to deal with the Corona epidemic that children orphaned or destitute during the Kovid-19 epidemic are the property of the state. The state government will provide all the responsibility including maintenance of the children whose parents have died due to Kovid. He directed the Women and Child Development Department to immediately prepare a detailed action plan in this regard.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the efforts of the successive efforts have started coming. The intensity of corona infection is decreasing in the state. The recovery rate of corona infection in the state has now gone up to 91.4 percent. There have been a total of 7,336 cases of corona infection in the state in the last 24 hours. This number is about 30 thousand less than 38055 cases that came on April 24. In the last 24 hours, 19,669 infected persons have been discharged after treatment. At present, the number of active cases of corona infection in the state is 1,23,579, which is 1.87 lakh less than the maximum number of active cases as on April 30, 2021 from 3,10,783. Thus there has been a decrease of 69 per cent in the number of maximum active cases at present relative to 30 April.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that all necessary steps are being taken by the government to ensure the health security of the people of the state. The overall covid positivity rate in the state is 3.6 percent, while in the last 24 hours this rate has been 2.45 percent. This situation in Uttar Pradesh is satisfactory given the state’s vast population and epidemic situation. He said that Uttar Pradesh has adopted the policy of aggressive testing right from the beginning. There have been 2,97,327 Tests in the state, setting a new record in the last 24 hours. Out of this, 2,19,000 tests have been conducted in rural areas only, while 1,22,000 tests have been done through RTPCR. So far, 4,55,31,018 tests have been conducted in the state. The results of the testing campaign conducted in the villages are getting good results.
CM Yogi Adityanath directed that the system of community health centers and primary health centers of all districts should be streamlined. Painting of health centers should also be done. Also, necessary manpower, drinking water, toilets, electricity etc. should also be maintained properly. This work should be completed in the next one week. He said that it should be ensured that the duty office of any doctor is not put at all. Only medical work should be done from them. All the ventilators and oxygen concentrators available in all the districts should be in working condition. Anesthetics and technicians should also be available for operation of ventilators.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, a nodal officer should be posted at ration shops for distribution of food grains. It should be ensured that the eligible persons receive the permissible quantity of food grains. Make interaction with local public representatives and get them inspected at ration shops. The state government has decided to distribute food grains to the eligible persons free of cost for three months from the month of June, 2021. All arrangements should be ensured in this regard in time.
Guidelines of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
- Medical kits should be made available to home isolation patients through monitoring committees. In a large-scale campaign of screening in rural areas, symptomatic or suspected infected persons may be provided medical kits immediately by the Monitoring Committee, so that sufficient number of medical kits should be made available to the Monitoring Committees.
- Action should be taken against those suspected in black marketing of oxygen and other life saving drugs as per NSA. Police departments should constantly monitor such activities. Intelligence should be enhanced.
- Availability of oxygen as per demand is being ensured for the systematic treatment of all Kovid and Non Kovid patients. If there is a need for an empty cylinder in medical colleges, it should be replenished immediately.
- In addition to providing medical kit to the symptomatic and suspected infected person by the monitoring committee, a list of such persons should be prepared. This list should be made available to the Integrated Command and Control Center.
- A 100-bed pediatric ICU (Piku) ward should be prepared in all medical colleges. The State Level Health Expert Advisory Committee has presented an assessment regarding the equipment, human resources and other requirements required for the establishment of Piku.
- In addition to BRD Medical College, BHU and KGMU, the Health Department has experience in setting up Piku in Gorakhpur-Basti division districts affected by encephalitis. Taking the benefit of this experience, pediatricians, technicians, paramedical staff of all district hospitals and medical colleges should be trained. Phase training of Asha workers and Anganwadi workers should also be done.
- On the lines of students studying in MBBS final year, medical youth from foreign medical institutions who have not passed the qualifying examination for medical practice in India, services should be availed in Kovid work. Guidance should be obtained from the Medical Council of India in this regard.
- Some people who have become healthy after getting rid of Kovid infection are still in need of medical monitoring. In such a situation, arrangements for treatment of post-covid medical problems along with Kovid treatment is necessary.
- Treatment of black fungus should be available in sufficient quantity in all the districts of the state. In this regard, a letter to the Government of India should be requested to increase the allocation.
- Effective management of vaccination should be done keeping in mind the zero waste of corona vaccination. Vaccination work should go on smoothly at all vaccination centers, for this one month planning should be done in advance.
- Sanitation, sanitization and fagging operations should be continued effectively in the entire state. The list of these works should be made available to the public representatives. In order to effectively run the community kitchen, food packets should be made available to the needy persons as well as the family members of the patients.
