Gorakhpur In view of the corona infection, banking operations will be held from 10 am to 2 am in all banks from Thursday to May 15. The branches of the bank will be closed at four o’clock. The state-level bankers committee has decided to reduce the working hours in banks by two hours from April 22 and issue this new order in place of banking work from 10 am to 4 am.
Now only these tasks will be done
Under this, only minimum banking services like deposits, cash withdrawals, check clearing and government transactions will be provided. Not only this, banks will now operate with a minimum attendance of 50 percent employees. While all other alternative channels including digital banking will continue to function as usual.

In addition to this, all the work related to all alternative delivery channels of State Bank like Currency Chest, ATM, Cyber Security, Clearing House, Bank Treasury will continue to be undone. If the district administration issues a new order in view of the condition of corona infection, the bank will ensure action accordingly.

All the banks, except SBI, will remain completely closed till May 15 to open bank accounts, issue ATMs, passbook entries, issue statements and update KYC.
