Dehradun. Director General of Police Ashok Kumar has directed to deploy water police teams in Tehri lake and Devprayag. The DGP said that the number of tourists visiting Tehri Lake and Devprayag is increasing steadily. Therefore, efforts are being made to increase security at both the main places.
During the review meeting with the officials of the National Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Water Police and Flood Relief PAC teams, the DGP asked the in-charge of the Water Police, SDRF, Deep Diving Team, Flood Relief PAC Team for their manpower, deployment and rescue available with them Learned the equipment. He said that seeing the importance of Tehri Lake, one sub-team of SDRF deployed at Dhalwala, Rishikesh should be deployed at Tehri Lake and Devprayag Sangam site.
The DGP said that flood relief teams of PAC teams would be stationed at Shivpuri (Tehri Garhwal), Laxmanjhula (Pauri Garhwal), Sangam Sthal (Rudraprayag), Gulbhoj (Udhamsinghnagar) in addition to the places previously deployed. At the same time, the DGP inspected the rescue equipment of SDRF, Water Police and Flood Relief PAC team. He also directed the Inspector General of Police PM to provide new effective equipment to the team. The DGP said that plans are also being made to increase police posts and police stations in the state, for which a meeting will be held soon.
Recruitment check order
With the start of the recruitment process in non-government schools, questions have also started to be raised. The latest case comes from the junior high schools in Udham Singh Nagar.
