Leaving the route fixed for the parade, the Hooddangi entered the middle of Delhi and vandalized fiercely. After attacking the Red Fort, the miscreants planted the saffron flag there. Meanwhile, the policemen trying to stop him were attacked by rogues with rods and swords. Not only this, while stopping towards India Gate and Red Fort, the hoodlords also tried to offer tractors to the soldiers and media persons at the ITO intersection.
83 policemen were injured in the nuisance, who have been admitted to Loknayak Hospital for treatment. This act of miscreants has raised questions on the movement for two months in the name of farmers and the motive behind it. After the violence, the peasant leaders separated themselves from the disturbance. Yogendra Yadav even said that I am ashamed and take responsibility for it. On Republic Day, not only the country but the whole world witnessed the disturbance on the streets of Delhi, like never before. These unbridled hoodlings embarrassed the entire country. Thousands of protesters from Sighu, Tikri and Ghazipur border reached ITO and Red Fort. After climbing the ramparts of the Red Fort, the miscreants put a saffron flag in front of the policemen.
In an attempt to hit the barricade vigorously while performing a stunt on ITO, the tractor overturned, leading to the death of Navrit Singh, a resident of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, who was driving the tractor. In Delhi, DTC buses, dumper, Delhi Police buses, PCR vans and barricades used as barricades were broken. Despite all this the Delhi Police continued to exercise restraint. However, the miscreants had to charge sticks and release tear gas shells to prevent them from coming towards New Delhi and controlling them elsewhere.

After removing the buses and barricades, the miscreants started riding on the tractor and headed towards Tilak Bridge. They kept breaking the police barriers and removing them all the way. The miscreants at the ITO intersection also hit a DTC bus with seven tractors and tried to overturn it. A PCR van and a police bus parked in front of the gate of the old police headquarters broke the glass.
Were equipped with sticks and sticks and bricks
Around 80 per cent of the people who had caused a fuss on ITO and Red Fort, had iron rods, sticks, sticks, bags filled with bricks and swords, besides the tricolor in their hands. These miscreants broke the railing on the divider and took out its rod and damaged public properties. Actually, his plan was to go to Rajpath and Parliament House in New Delhi, but this could not happen due to the strong barricades and presence of a large number of police forces. Seeing this rising, Delhi Police stopped internet services in Delhi-NCR. Most of the metro stations of Delhi were also closed.
The miscreants were captured for five hours
The ITO and the Red Fort remained under unruly occupation for about five hours. These places were evacuated in the evening. Throughout the day, messages from Police Commissioner NN Srivastava came to the officers and jawans to stand firm and fight with full power. Seeing the situation worsening, the policemen also asked the officers for permission to shoot, but permission was not given.

For the tractor parade, the Delhi Police worked with the farmers as per the conditions and made necessary arrangements. The Delhi Police showed considerable restraint till the end, but the protesters defied the stipulated conditions and started the tractor parade well ahead of schedule. The agitators chose the path of violence and sabotage, in view of which the Delhi Police took necessary steps with restraint to maintain law and order. Government properties have suffered significant damage and many policemen have also been injured.
