Jaipur. On Tuesday morning, Caretel’s hands and feet were tied in the premises of a temple located in the Sodala area and the sensation spread after the body was found with a cloth in the mouth. Police reached the information and collected evidence from the spot with the help of FSL and Dog Squad Team. A police prima facie investigation has revealed that the caretaker has been strangled to death and the temple office locks have been found broken. Police said the incident took place in Rakeshpuri colony in Rakri. Here is the Sri Rakeshwar Mahadev Temple of Mehra Samaj. While staying in the temple, Girraj (70) used to worship the temple and maintain the essence of the temple. According to the developments, the miscreants attacked the Girraj after closing the temple premises late night. They tied their hands and feet and took a cloth in their mouth and took them hostage. After which he was slapped on the bed and strangled to death. The miscreants also broke the locks of the office. The sensation spread by getting the body – women arrived in the temple to worship at around 6.30 am. When the gate of the temple was closed from inside, the caretaker gave a voice to Girraj. Even after sounding, there was no response from inside. Soon after, Rajendra, the son of caretaker Girraj was called. Rajendra raised the wall and entered the temple complex. The body of Father Girraj was found lying on the bed kept in the temple room. The sensation spread to people after finding out that the caretaker was found dead in the temple premises. Police reached the spot on information. Police collected evidence from the spot with the help of FSL and Dog Squad Team. After which, the body was sent to the hospital for post-mortem with the help of ambulance. Police say that the miscreants, who had entered the robbery, took Girraj hostage and slammed him on the bed in the room. After which the office locks were broken, but could not carry any goods.
