New Delhi. COVID-19 cases in India: Kovid-19 vaccination drive started on 16 January in India and till now a total of 20,23,809 people have been vaccinated in the country. In the last 24 hours, 9,102 new cases of Kovid-19 infection have come, which is the first time in the last seven months. At the same time, 117 infected deaths were recorded during 24 hours. At the same time the total number of active cases in the country is 1,77,266 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,03,45,985. As far as the country Kovid-19 test is concerned, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 19,30,62,694 sample tests have been done in the country till Monday 25 January, out of which 7,25,577 samples. Only came for testing on Monday.
According to health officials, this is the first time in seven months. At the same time, less than 20 thousand infections cases were reported in the country every day in the last 19 days, as well as the death toll was less than 300 in the last 29 days. India had 10,064 new cases on 19 January and 9,633 cases on 3 June last year. The Ministry of Health said on Tuesday that cases of recovery from infection have increased.
The recovery rate in the country is 96.83 percent, while the death rate has been 1.73 percent. Around 80 per cent of the new cases coming up every day are in eight states – Kerala (Kerala), Maharashtra (Maharashtra), Karnataka (Karnataka), Tamil Nadu (Tamil Nadu), Chhattisgarh (Chhattisgarh), Gujarat (Gujarat), West Bengal (West Bengal) ), And come from Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh).
