Capt. Vibhor Gulati led Pinaka Multi Launcher Rocket System of 841 Rocket Regiment (Pinaka) on Rajpath on the occasion of Republic Day. The 214 mm Pinaka MBRL is one of the most advanced rocket systems in the world.
– A contingent of National Security Guard (NSG) marches on Rajpath. They are also known as Black Cat Commandos. The force was formed in 1984.

Navy to present tableau of naval expedition during Indo-Pak war of 1971
During the parade, the Army’s BrahMos missile, including its mobile launch system, battleships T-90 Bhishma, infantry combat vehicle BMP-2 Sarath and rocket system Pinaka will showcase their power. At the same time, the Navy will present the tableau of INS Vikrant and naval expedition during Indo-Pak war of 1971. The Air Force will show offerings on light combat aircraft Tejas and anti-tank missile Dhruvastra. Apart from Rafale, 38 Air Force and four Army Airplanes will participate in the parade.
What will be seen for the first time
In addition to the flypast by Rafale fighter jets, this time the corona vaccine tableau will be shown on Rajpath. The tableau of Ladakh will also be seen for the first time. Apart from this, Bhavna Kant will be the first female fighter pilot to participate in the Republic Day Parade. Many things will not be seen due to corona
In view of the corona, the rules of physical distance have been ensured. Thermal screening, sanitizer and face mask have also been arranged. Due to this only 25,000 people have been allowed to come to Rajpath to watch the function. More than one lakh spectators attend this event every year. This year the parade will also be smaller. The parade will end at the national stadium instead. Only tableaux will be allowed to reach the Red Fort. Motorcycle stunts will also not be seen.
