Jammu. An activist of his party led by Altaf Bukhari has been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police sources said Ranjit Singh, a 36-year-old activist of his party, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen outside his house in Draj village in Rajouri district on Tuesday evening.
Sources said, “He was admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Rajouri Town, where the doctors present said his condition is stable”.
Sources said that the police have registered an FIR for the incident and investigations have been started to identify the culprits.
Earlier this month, another worker of his party was shot and injured by militants in Anantnag district of Kashmir division.
