Meerut Police of Uttar Pradesh has busted a gang supplying illegal cartridges. Police has arrested three accused with 234 cartridges. At the same time, four accused are absconding in this case, whose search has been started by the police. Police suspects that this gang is linked to the infamous Neeraj Bawana gang of Delhi. The mastermind of this gang is a young man studying Hafiz in a madrasa.
Meerut’s Lalkurti police station and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team have jointly busted the cartridge supply network. In this case, the police have arrested Sharib, Uwaid Khan, a resident of Mawana police station area and Haider Khan alias Bhura, a resident of Sathala. Police interrogation has revealed that Sharib is the mastermind of this entire gang, who was studying Hafiz in a madrasa.

During interrogation of the arrested accused, the police has come to know many surprising things. Giving information about the case, the police said that the arrested person was buying and selling illegal cartridges for a long time. Police has revealed that Sharib was running the network of this gang with his brother Shakir and nephew. The accused told that they used to take consignment of cartridges from Ahad alias Raja alias Pakhtooni. Which was later supplied to other associates.
234 cartridges recovered
Meerut SP City Ayush Vikram said that a total of 234 cartridges have been recovered from the accused, out of which 204 are 12 bore cartridges and 30 are 315 bore cartridges. The SP said that these cartridges are usually used for shooting, but the accused were modifying them and turning them into lethal weapons. Police suspect that this gang may be connected to Delhi gangster Neeraj Bawana gang. Police is searching for four other criminals who are absconding in the case of supply of illegal cartridges.
