One set of mice was completely healthy, while the other set was genetically ill. The scientists found that the consumption of ghee did not make much difference in the rats in the healthy set, while the levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood of rats were increased by eating ghee in the second set.
In the results of the study, researchers have told that people who already have a disease should limit their consumption of ghee. Ghee should be consumed in controlled amounts, especially by heart disease patients.
