Pindra Varanasi. A masked youth kidnapped a six-year-old innocent girl from near her house and raped her. He has been admitted to BHU Trauma Center in critical condition. On receiving the information, police and dog squad arrived and investigated. On the basis of suspicion, a dozen youth of the village are being detained and interrogated.
The farmer living in Phulpur police station area had gone to Siwan on Wednesday night to guard his fields. His wife and mother were sleeping in the room while his four year old son, six and ten year old daughters were sleeping on the stool in the verandah of the house. The farmer’s father was sleeping near a hand pump a short distance from the house.
At around 12 o’clock in the night the six year old child felt thirsty. Without telling anyone, she got up from the bed and started going towards the hand pump. Meanwhile, a young man with his mouth tied with a towel stopped him on the way. He choked her, forcibly picked her up, took her to a pond outside the village and raped her.
The girl bled and became unconscious. Seeing this the young man left her near the house and ran away. While leaving, he also took away the gold earrings worn by the girl. When the girl regained consciousness at three in the morning, she somehow reached home and informed her grandmother about the incident.
Seeing him in a bloody condition, she started screaming. Hearing the screams, the people of the village gathered and informed the police. Phulpur Inspector Sanjay Mishra sent the girl to Divisional Hospital where seeing her serious condition, the doctors sent her to BHU Trauma Center. Forensic team, dog squad along with ACP Pindra Prateek Kumar reached the spot and investigated.

The police suspect that the person who brutalized the girl may be someone she knows. During the incident he had covered his face with a towel. The girl told the police that he did not say anything but was threatening her with gestures. He also had knowledge of village roads. After kidnapping the girl, he took her to a pond outside the village.
