Now, ATS ADG DK Thakur has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Lucknow, replacing the Sujit Pandey, Police Commissioner of Lucknow and the new ADG has also taken over immediately.
Let me tell you that in Lucknow, the new police commissioner DK Thakur is a 1994 batch IPS officer and has also been the SSP of Lucknow. Apart from him, GK Goswami, who returned from central deputation, has been made ADG of ATS and Rajkumar has been made ADG Personnel. So right there, Sujit Pandey has been transferred and posted as ADG of ATC at Sitapur.
DM of Lucknow ordered magistrate inquiry:
According to the information, there was a possibility of getting kerosene in this poisonous liquor, which made the health worse. Police sealed the country liquor store after the incident. Lucknow magistrate Abhishek Prakash ordered a magistrate inquiry. With this, the magistrate’s team and the excise team reached the spot and inspected the entire incident. In this case, Commissioner Sujit Pandey suspended three policemen including Inspector Ramesh Singh Rawat for negligence.
