new Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping will face off in the face of ongoing tensions between India and China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. The two leaders will attend the BRICS meeting on Tuesday. After several rounds of talks between India-China on the border tensions, the issue is still inconclusive. Negotiations between India and China have slowed down for the withdrawal of troops from the border.
Today is a virtual summit of BRICS countries. The meeting will be attended by the Presidents of Russia, Brazil and South Africa, besides Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping Xi. Earlier, Chinese President Xi Jinping and PM Modi had also attended a virtual meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on 10 November. In the coming times, PM Modi and Xi Chinfing will also be face to face in the virtual meeting of Group-20 (G20) on 21 and 22 November.
