Jaipur . Kalraj Mishra, Governor of Rajasthan, has called upon the universities to develop courses in science and technical and specialized knowledge areas in English as well as Hindi. He has emphasized that educational institutions should invite subject experts related to arts, literature and culture as guest lecturers and make students interesting as well as regular courses. He has called upon the state’s Mohanlal Sukhadia University to work extensively in this regard, describing the decision to declare the test results on the same day by conducting exams in one day under the “One Day Mission” program.
Mishra was addressing an online seminar on National Education Policy organized by Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur from Raj Bhavan here. Principals, faculty heads, department heads and vice chancellors of 184 colleges participated in the seminar. The Governor, while realizing the intention of the new education policy, emphasized that universities should develop e-courses in regional languages as per the demand of modern times. He said that educational institutions should develop digital labs for students and ensure their participation in the National Educational Technology Forum. He said that the new education policy is completely student centered.
It clearly mentions that neither will anyone be imposed on the student nor will anyone be opposed. The Governor said that in the new education policy, the matter of mother study is important because from this, Indian languages can be preserved in real terms. He said that the student’s own interest in education is important. The new education policy has been formulated keeping this in mind. He also asked the university to make efforts at its level to link the tribal society of Udaipur Sirohi, Pratapgarh Rajsamand areas with the mainstream.
